For the Love of Embroidery
For Robert and Rachel Walker, owners and operators of R&R Custom Embroidery and Screen Printing, hard work and investing in their love for embroidery has given them the success they experience today.
With a little help from Ricoma machines and strong dedication, Rob and Rachel are now able to produce up to 30,000 caps in 6 months.
But it wasn't always like this...
Rob and Rachel used to only own a single head machine. For what they aspired their company to become, this just would not cut it for long.
The Walkers' pride themselves on a one-day turnaround in operating their business, which is why they began doing research on the top embroidery machines in the market.
Having been in business for over 10 years, Rachel and Robert have done their fair share of research on embroidery machines and understand how to determine its long-term value in relation to profit potential.
Production Goals: Achieving 30,000 Caps in 6 Months
The only solution to achieve their production goal was to invest in a machine with more heads.
Rob calls it, "simple mathematics."
Once Rob and Rachel realized that operating with just a single head machine would require them to stay up all day and night, they knew it was time to invest in their business.
Little did they know, purchasing a multi-head machine at the time was going to be way more than they could afford.
At a fraction of competitors' cost, Rob and Rachel felt it was a no-brainer to expand their embroidery business with Ricoma.
Ricoma made it possible for them to embroider and deliver 30,000 caps over the past 6 months!
Robert says that today, their business depends a lot on their 6-head in order to spearhead a lot of their larger projects.
“Six heads can handle volume beyond your wildest imagination,” Rob said.
The Future for R&R Custom Embroidery and Screen Printing
In their present and future business endeavors, Rachel and Robert are fulfilled knowing they are able to deliver quality to their customers with a fast turn around time.
Their goal is to expand their production by investing in more machines and of course, continue business with Ricoma long-term.
“R&R Custom Embroidery’s plan for the future is simple: we’re running a total of 13 heads. In the next 90 days, we want to double that capacity. Next is to drum up even more business and then by the end of the year, be able to touch our first million dollars,” says Rob Walker.
With consistent work ethic, we believe that Rachel and Rob Walker will hit their goal of a million dollars by the end of this year!
Rachel and Robert put their hearts into their embroidery business and it shows! Every day they use their passion for embroidery to deliver goods to their customers with the fastest turnaround time possible, while still delivering quality products.
